Prabir Barua (1942-1998), Founder Managing Director

Late Mr. Prabir Barua started with the small business of oil tanking and later on established ‘Flotech Consultants & Services Ltd, a new business of oil field services right from scratch. His devotion to the business of oil field services was total and was possible only at the cost of his paternal business of tea Industry. A graduate in Geology from Guwahati University and with more than a quarter century of hands on training and experience in the oil field services sector, he was the right man to start this type of business and was successful to such an extent that within last 15 years, a lot of people have followed his example.
